I am passionate about the outdoors, especially bird hunting and bird dogs. So that’s pretty much all I do. On the air and in my free time.
I also believe the best way to help this Earth is to get more people outside, having a good time. After all, “to know it is to love it.” It being the natural world. It’s a team effort, everyone doing what they do best (and often called on to do other things too!). And we couldn’t accomplish our goals without the creative, technical and administrative miracles everybody seems to pull off almost daily.
Linden Media Mgt. LLC was founded in my personal experience, as a city slicker made good by fresh air and wild places. A mid-career epiphany pushed me off the edge, a tumble that now includes dog ownership, multiple shotgun purchases and fanatic bird hunting.

A former educator, that passion has led me to authoring a book on families outdoors, and the creation of television and radio shows focused on getting others excited about what they can do with a rod, gun, dog, or simple pair of boots.
As the saying goes “the more people I meet, the more I like my dog,” is apt: I’ve narrowed my focus to my passion for bird dogs and bird hunting. After all, anyone who loves dogs can’t be all bad, so why not hang out with them?
And why not help them? Via Wingshooting USA, sponsors, related grassroots activities and online, I’m doing my darndest to support youth, conservation, and rescued gun dogs. I hope you’ll help too, because if we don’t take care of our own, who will?
The team:
Scott Linden: executive producer and creator of programming ranging from Field Test TV to Clay Target Shootout to Wingshooting USA. Tad Newberry: director, camera operator and editor; Lynn Berland: camera operator. And of course, Three Devils Yankee’s Buddy and his nephew Three Devils Linden’s Wingman (Manny to friends), German Wirehaired Pointers.
