Imagine hunting with a good friend – a skilled bird hunter – all season. The insights, advice, tips and tactics you picked up (if you’d paid attention!) would be worth their weight in bismuth ammunition.
That’s the goal of my “Upland Nation University” workshop. In a fun, relaxed atmosphere, the combination of mealtime “chalk talks,” in-field coaching and campfire chat will cut years off your learning curve. If you’re an experienced hunter, I hope to help you be more productive and get more from your in-field experience with friends, and dogs. Kind of a “201-level” college class – a few basics, plus a lot of information that isn’t in the other books, videos and even on TV.
Whether you hunt by yourself, with friends or a guide, on public or private land, you’ll be privy to information you haven’t thought of, never considered, and probably won’t find in a book or video, workshop or seminar.
Here’s why: after making over 150 episodes of wingshooting TV shows, hunting at almost a hundred lodges, on public land in 22 states, behind hundreds of bird dogs and with dozens of pro guides, I’ve assembled a unique arsenal of observations and suggestions that will make you a better hunter, shooter, and dog owner. It’s the stuff you’ll wish you’d thought of … but didn’t until now.
Add a trunk show of the latest gear and sampling of single-malt Scotches, and it’s a full, enriching, fun two-day experience for any bird hunter!
Bring your own (well-mannered) dog, invite a friend, spouse or your kid …
My next “University” sessions are at two of my favorite places – you’ve seen both on Wingshooting USA: September 21-23, 2019 at Pheasant Phun near Hitchcock, South Dakota, and March 9-12, 2020 at Pheasant Bonanza in Tekamah, Nebraska.
Hope you’ll join me! Details and more information available here.
