Bird hunting is about connecting: hunters with friends, hunters and their dog, hunters and the natural world. And now we’ll connect with those who have served our country.
Wingshooting USA fans have been asking for a chance to get together … and do good while hunting. So as part of the Cabela’s Awesome Upland Road Trip … destination Kansas, they’ll gather in Kansas to thank active duty, retired, and disabled military service men and women with two days of hunting, camaraderie, and fun.
Everyone and all branches of service are welcome!
A positive, supportive outdoor experience. A chance to bond with dogs, magical healers of spirit and soul.
Dogs are very important to the Wingshooting USA “Upland Nation.” We recognize both the practical and emotional value of our canine hunting partners, and want to share it. A hunting experience offers camaraderie, companionship and a connection with the natural world best expressed in the partnership of man and dog.
We’ll have fun meeting fellow bird hunters, enjoy working our dogs and sharing the hunt with a veteran or active-service military member. Everyone will enjoy the beauty and excitement of Kansas bird hunting, and many will hunt their way home through some of the best pheasant and quail habitat on millions of acres of public and private land in Kansas.
