Up at 5:40 a.m. and that’s considered a victory here. Funny how you begin rationalizing everything when a pup enters your household: I was awake anyway, that furniture/shirt/rug needed replacing, it was time for a break from that work … you know, if you’ve had a pup recently.
And that’s the other thing: our memory’s half-life is so short. Flick is the rowdiest puppy we’ve ever had, or is he? Our other dogs weren’t like this, or were they? It is a good lesson on being in the moment. Every day, hour, minute is exactly what it is right now. Not last pup, last week, or tomorrow.
I think that’s a good thing.
Game of Bones….Hunting is Near.
Puppies remind us that life is short, enjoy the moment.
Amen to that.
