The first box from my friends at Mud River arrived today, and Buddy and Manny just knew it was for them!
It’s a “Frisco” dog bed and I (er, they) love it! Unlike their other beds, this one doesn’t have “sides.” While many dogs cozy up to them like they do a couch’s arms and back, mine find those sides conveniently located to their teeth! The result is, well, a deconstructed dog bed. The Frisco is also BIG, so each guy can stretch out fully, luxuriating in the firm-yet-soft padding, durable waxed-cotton cover and reinforced edges.
The best part, it folds in half for easy transport to the new truck where it’ll soon be an integral part of the dog’s “backyard.” Get more information on Mud River here.
Thanks for sharing your information. Enjoy all of your wonderful photos. I mostly live outdoors, so there are a few things you need to think about. Wood wears and falls apart over the years. You want to treat it every year, which is no fun. And you have to get every nook and cranny on each piece, because moisture will find a path in. Resin will stain and needcheap. It can be a bit uncomfortable. The best garden furniture is wrought iron. And if you get a decent set. It’s worth the cost. I’m a long time reader and first time commenter!
That’s why I won’t get a wood drift boat! Still, the aesthetics won out on this occasion, and I’ll take on the maintenance chores as needed.
