The first draft was a train wreck. The second, not much better. So after a year of navel-gazing and incestuous committee meetings with nary a dog owner or trainer amongst their staff, Oregon’s Dept. of Fish & Wildlife has decided to seek real input from real people who own real dogs and train them in the real world.
A radical departure, as you well know.
I’ve been asked to serve on the advisory committee that will provide direction to ODFW staff. It’s a fast track, with final rules to be delivered to the Commission in mid-April. So, here’s your chance. Speak up!
Congratulations on being asked to be a part. Good luck!!
Thanks. Suggestions welcome. See you in Omaha?
