Well, as a self-avowed “puppy kisser,” I have the distinct ritual when releasing my Brittany from the truck of grabbing her snout, giving her a little kiss on the forehead, and whispering “are you gonna find the birds for me? Yes, let’s find the birds.” Then off we go! (I try not to let others see this behavior…)
No good luck ritual for me during the hunting season. But, with the way I shoot I’m considering sacrificing a chicken or goat before my next trip. 🙂
Let’s put it this way, if I don’t do something my dog will stop going with me out of frustration!
