Well, I’m finally getting that hall pass.
Instead of hunting behind other people’s dogs for my TV shows, my wirehair Buddy and I are hitting the road on the FIELD & STREAM Radio “Awesome Upland Road Trip.” Thanks to sponsor Irish Setter boots and apparel (and more to come) we’ll travel the west and hunt well-known and unknown coverts for as many species as we can find. Better think about a hunt in So AZ for mearns this fall. Last year was very good and the monsoon has been good to that area this year and barring some catastrophe this might be a banner year. Also can have some hunting for gambels and scalies nearby though they are in recovery mode from some thin years due to the drought.
