Hi Scott, I really enjoy your show and live right near where you’ve filmed a couple of shows near the Tetons in Idaho. I have a dog question for you. I have a one year old lab who won’t retreive real birds. He will bring back bumpers with grouse scent all day long and is not gun shy at all. But he just goes to the bird and sniffs and licks it. I’ve tried and tried to get him to retrieve them but don;t know what to do. I’m not rich and didn’t have the luxury of using captive birds when he was younger and had to wait until the season started. What should I do to get him over that?
We’ve had a great time out your way! The real solution is a force-fetch training program – look into one or another version. Get some tips from a pro, watch some videos and start at Square One. It works.
Scott, Sorry maybe I did not clarify enough or maybe the answer is obvious but I don’t see it. In the table above it says:
Here’s what you can look forward to:
Air week:
6/25 35 27 At the foot of the Tetons Crops, shelterbelts and surrounding
I assume the program airs on June 25 but what does the 35 and 27 relate to. Sorry for being such a pain but I am looking forward to seeing the Heartland Hunt this Sunday and I don’t want to miss it.. Thanks and best regards. Roger
What do do the numbers after the dates indicate for example 6/25 35 27 in separate boxes.
Huh?
Hi Scott,
Jason Ostrander here from Wyoming, just wondering how your doing, I sure hope your doing well and having a good start to your year. I was curious if you know when our show will be on TV. I know its probably a ways out but keep me in the loop, I’ve been enjoying your facebook page, keep up the great work!
Have great Day!
Jason
Grey Reef Anglers & Wingshooting
PS I’ve watch several of your episodes since our hunt this fall and have enjoyed every minute.
Watch for the debut of your episodes late summer, Jason. We are editing now, but there’s a lot to do and we’ve had other fish to fry with our early launch and new network identity for NBC Sports (formerly Versus). More details as they become available. Did you ever contact those breeders I mentioned?
