I have never hunted birds before but I’m planning to start on Ruffed Grouse this weekend . I live in Moravia NY and we have alot of state land just up the road , I’ve seen numerous Grouse while out deer hunting this year and am looking forward to a few fun filled weekends through the end of February . I don’t have a dog , yet but I’ve been looking closely at Clumber spaniels . Have you ever had the opportunity to hunt over this breed , and if so what is your opinion of them?
