Don’t hold back. Tell me how you really feel.
About wingshooting and hunting dog TV shows, that is. What really, really, makes you mad about the current fare? Anything you wish a producer would include, that isn’t? Places that should be featured? What do you want more of, or less? What trips your trigger, or is a pet peeve when you’re watching those other shows?
Here’s your chance. I’m putting the finishing touches on my next TV series and it’s as good as YOURS. That is, help me make it the best wingshooting and bird dog series … ever. I can’t promise to list you all in the credits, but you’ll watch knowing you had a hand in the creation of the show.
Go ahead. Spill. Right … down … there, in the comments section. Or in the poll, above. Or both.
And thanks.

To me it seems that most upland hunting shows are geared to please the hosts more than relate/entertain/teach the viewer. Although I appreciate the places they go and the things they do, I have difficulty in relating to it.
I want to see more hunting in the US. Hunting for Pheasant in Kansas and Grouse in Wisconsin are amazing fun. And if you want exotic, have you ever been to a small town in Northern Wisconsin? I want to see more hunting spots from places North of the Mason/Dixon line. Upland hunting in the US is more than Bobwhite in Georgia and Texas in 70 degree weather. I want to see a hunting show that tells more of the story about why we do it: the dogs, the friends and the joy that this mix can bring. Finally, I think that the show could/would have great interest for me if they touched on things for the dog (training and/or breed info), the friends (where you stayed and ate) and the hunt (hunting gear and clothing that was used, location and/or outfitter used).
Amen! You will see most of what you ask for.
